SMS Thangamaligai is an 80 + years old Gold Jewelry shop situated in Aruppukottai, Tamilnadu. Our founders Sri.S.M.Sankaranarayana Achari and Sri. S.M.Alangudi Achari were brothers, hailing from a Small village Vemboor around 20 Kms near Aruppukottai. The Brothers started a small gold shop in the year 1939 which gradually and steadily grew into a full-fledged jewelry shop with in a short span of time. People around Aruppukottai particularly agriculturists in the surrounding villages thronged the shop and the Our jewelry shop gained a lot of fame and name.

Because of our stellar growth we moved to our own modern building and show room SMS Thanga Maligai in the year 1962 and we are proud to say that our new show room was declared inaugurated by Thiru Sadhu T. Ramasamy naicker, owner of Sri Jayavilas (p) Ltd.
